Mr. Politicz
Hello, my name is Quentin Henderson and as a co-founder of Neighborhood Politicz I would love to share who I am. Deeply passionate about youth development, mentorship, and education; As a mentor, teacher, and basketball coach, I am dedicated to shaping young minds, fostering leadership, and empowering the next generation to reach their full potential. Through sports, education, and guidance, I strive to instill discipline, confidence, and resilience in the youth I work with by helping them see beyond their current circumstances and toward a future filled with opportunity.
Beyond my role as a mentor, I have a strong commitment to community evolution, with a vision of uniting inner-city communities through connection, collaboration, and shared growth. I believe that by fostering strong relationships, providing mentorship, and leading by example as positive role models, we can create environments where individuals and families feel supported, valued, and inspired to thrive.
Mrs. Politicz,
My name is Yahmaya Henderson, also known as Mrs. Neighborhood Politicz! I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio where my desire to help my community burned deeply. I serve as a Wife, Mother, Coach, Mentor, Educator, and above all, a “CHILD Of GOD.” Knowing that God originally designed everyone to be great, to walk in their purpose, and to enjoy life in its fullness caused me to have a true passion for helping my community. Growing up, I was a child who had full potential but my environment made me feel hopeless at times. We all know that environments help shape your views, behaviors, and ultimately your decision making. But what do you do when your environment is telling you something different then who you know you were created to be? Where do you go to get inspired, encouraged, or guidance? Well, here at Neighborhood Politicz we would like to encourage and inspire people to not allow their current environment and circumstances to define them. YOU get to define yourself, and YOU also get to create the life YOU want to live. Our desire is to create a safe space, give the voiceless a voice, and to inspire others to keep persevering. At the core of everything I do is my love for being a husband and father. My family is my greatest motivation, and I am committed to being a role model of integrity, love, and hard work; both at home and in the community. I believe that true leadership starts within the family, and through my personal and professional journey, I aim to leave a lasting impact that uplifts not just individuals, but entire communities.
Mission
At Neighborhood Politicz, our mission is simple: to pour into our communities the same way others once poured into us. We’re all about building strong, thriving inner-city neighborhoods by showing real-life examples of positive men and women who lead with love, wisdom, and strength.
We connect with youth through hands-on, engaging activities, and we create spaces where both kids and adults can learn, grow, and be inspired. Whether it’s a community event, a conversation, or a moment of mentorship—we believe in meeting people where they are and helping them see what’s possible.
We’re here to spark change that lasts—and it starts with real connection, real support, and reminding folks of the greatness already inside them.
